'Tigerfusion' and the hospitals

Sir,
Your excellent article on hospitals broadcasting appears to have sparked off some friendly inquiries on who does what. May I therefore put the record right?

The broadcasting of Hull City's games and Hull and Hull Kingstown Rovers' rugby league games to local hospitals is carried out by the Tigerfusion Hospital Broadcasting service which was founded by Hull City AFC and Rediffusion and the Telephones Department of Hull Corporation, The service this season enters its 21st year and introduced hospitals broadcasting in our city.

Obviously the most cordial relationships exist between ourselves and our younger brethren of whom you wrote so deservedly, and we are only too happy for them to use Tigerfusion lines when they require them. I hope this sorts out some little confusion which seems to have been created and we can both get on with our jobs of trying to make life a little more tolerable for those in our local hospitals.
