Memories
ONE of the disc jockeys of the
Hull and East Riding Hospital Broadcasting Service, the voluntary body which
does much to improve the lot of patients separated from their families, needs
some help.
The D.J. Mr Dave Hutchins of
Cherry Garth, Beverley, tells me he broadcasts a programme each Friday night
called 'Memory lane' in which he plays records for the older listeners
requested by relatives.
Many of his requests are for
records which are not always easy to get hold of, especially those of the
1950's, and he says he will be glad to hear from anyone who has such records
which they no longer use.
There must be dozens of
enthusiasts who have such records which have probably not been played for
years. Mr Hutchins would be grateful for them.
