Breath of fresh 'air'
IT WAS music to the ears of
volunteers when they got the go ahead to move Kingstown Hospital radio into
brand new £50,000 studios which go 'on-air' today.
The two studios, in Kingston
General Hospital, Beverley Road, are crammed with the latest equipment bought
with the help of £10,000 raised by the radio station.
'This will be the best studio for
hospital radio in the country,' said press and publicity officer Mr Mike
Duggleby.
Programmes were beamed to Hull
patients from the old premises further down Beverley Road until today when the
new studios went into operation. They will be officially opened in June or July
